Kenny 365 is an ambitious photography project which will document life in Kenny Neighborhood each and every day for one year. Kenny 365 will feature one photograph per day, capturing a unique point in time from the perspective of a neighborhood resident.

The idea is simple; the Kenny365 project leader chooses photographers from among volunteer Kenny residents, and each photographer is assigned a day to take photos anywhere in the neighborhood. At the end of the day, the photographer chooses a favorite photo, and sends it, along with a caption or descriptive text, to the website administrator, who posts it on line.

For photographers, the guidelines are basic but rigid: when it’s your day, get out in to the neighborhood and start shooting. Of course, that could mean 17 degrees below zero, or 97 above; sun, sleet or snow. The purpose behind creating 365 photos is to document whatever the photographer feels best represents the spirit of Kenny that he or she captured on that day. Previous days’ photos will continue to be displayed on the website, so visitors can review an entire year in the life of our neighborhood, one day at a time.
