5912 Girard

The property owner has applied for the following land-use applications associated with the

construction of the new single-family dwelling located at 5912 Girard Avenue South:

·         Variance to permit development on or within forty feet of a top of a steep

slope in the SH Shoreland Overlay District

·         Variance to permit development in the SH Shoreland Overly District within

fifty (50) feet of a protected water.

The Minneapolis Board of Adjustment will meet on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at 4:30 p.m., in Room 317 City Hall, 350 S. 5th St., Minneapolis, MN. Interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Planning Department staff will issue a recommendation to the Zoning Board of Adjustment. After hearing from the public, the Zoning Board of Adjustment will make a determination based on required legal findings of fact.
