KNA coordinates several events through the year such as the Annual Meeting (April), Kenny/Armatage Garage Sales (May), Kenny Ice Cream Social (June), the Kickin' Back at Kenny Summer Festival and Kickball Tournament (July) and the Buckthorn Bust (October/November).

Get Ready for the Holiday Light Tour

2022 Holiday Light Tour Sq finalEnjoy the colorful city streets and light displays of the Armatage AND Kenny neighborhoods this holiday season! The Holiday Light Tour is self-guided and runs each night from 5–8pm on Friday, December 9 through Sunday, December 19. This year’s map will be available here by December 8 so you can plan your route.

Please be respectful of neighbors on your adventure. If you drive the tour, please turn off your vehicle when you arrive at each stop. Free and open to all!

Register for the Tour by December 6

If you live in Armatage or Kenny and love to decorate for the holidays, sign up to be a part of the Holiday Light Tour! The deadline to register is Tuesday, December 6 at 11:59pm. By signing up you agree to have your decorations up during every night of the tour and to have your address published on the map.

Instead of voting this year, we will do a random drawing for $50 gift cards to neighborhood businesses.

We're so excited to be able to partner with our neighbors in Armatage for this year's Halloween Tour! Enjoy the sights and frights around both neighborhoods this Halloween season. The self-guided tour runs Mon, Oct 24 – Mon, Oct 31 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

Visitors will be able to vote on their favorites in the following categories: Best Use of Pumpkins, Spookiest, Armatage Neighborhood Favorite and Kenny Neighborhood Favorite. The display with the most votes in each category will win a $50 gift card donated by Book Club!

E-Waste Recycling & Paper Shredding Event

Tech Dump SM 1The KNA is co-sponsoring an upcoming e-waste and paper shredding recycling event at Mayflower Church! Please enter the parking lot via Diamond Lake Road and exit onto Stevens Ave and look for friendly volunteers to help you unload.

Accepted Items

Bring the following items for safe recycling AND data destruction (here’s the full list):

  • Documents with sensitive info for shredding
  • TVs (all kinds and sizes)
  • Computers
  • Tablets
  • Phones (all kinds)
  • Peripherals (cords, computer parts, keyboards, etc.)
  • Small appliances (lamps, fans, vacuums, small kitchen appliances, etc.)

**Friendly reminder that Mpls Solid Waste & Recycling customers can also set out two electronics items every week and recycle paper in their blue cart for no extra fee!** At this event, you’ll be able to shred and recycle confidential documents and recycle electronics AND have secure data destruction.
